Carrie, that is a beautiful message! The pureness of your heart encourages me that there are still people who seek peace on earth to be still and enjoy the beauty that our Creator so thoughtfully provides for us. I find that my garden is one of my favorite places to have conversations with my Heavenly Father. Someday, I hope to have a comfortable place out in my garden to invite friends to join me.

Carrie, I think I tend to be more like Martha rather than Mary most days too. But your thoughts and words agree with this summary I found in Luke 10, "Martha works hard to welcome Jesus to her home. Her sister, Mary of Bethany, simply sits at His feet and listens. Both Mary and Martha serve, yet Mary understands the priority and necessity of choosing to abide in Christ." We literally have to make a conscious effort to choose the good part He gives of each day, and let go of the lesser things for another day..

I have been starting my days with prayer and bible reading which has always been a challenge for me to get into the habit of doing. On day 178 now! It has made a huge difference in my days! I'm much more calm, peaceful, joyful, hopeful, etc! Most of these mornings I have been sitting outside while I do this. Always amazed at all the nature around me, from a tiny insect to the breeze in the trees, to the squirrel that crosses by my feet daily with food in its mouth. I could on! I'm so blessed!! Lovely, breathtaking gardens you have! Thank you!!

Weeds, yes they are no fun. We were reading in the bible about thorns and distels that men will have working on the land. Now we don't mind to do the weeds😅. O and my husband always write numbers. enjoyed your video love all your Dalias there Beautiful and I would have to agree with you about the Squash bugs It has been crazy with them this season I do the same just Squash them every time I am out in the garden that squash Variety you mentioned I well definitely have to try growing It next season and the Habert variety I well have to try that one as well as a Trap like you did for the squash vinebour I planted two better nut squash plants and I was able to save one plant I think that,s pretty good on my part
